Yin and Yang

About this design:

I started work on this necklace many moons ago and wasn't too pleased with how loose the coils were. Put it away and promptly for got about it.

A few days ago I rediscovered it and decided to see if I could tighten up the coils which I did. I may do a bit more work on them. I had forgot that I made a section of chain and the clasp. The chain is a simple figure 8 with some plain jump rings to connect the sections.

I like the idea! Do you hammer the yin/yang links so they keep their shape?

I use a raw hide mallet while I’m working then texture and finish with the chasing hammer.

Thanks BevB. You are right. It’s a fairly simple and versatile design that can be worn with anything. I’ve been considering making a larger yen/yang for a pendant. Just a stray thought.

Nice links! You do wonders with wire! I like the size of the links and how they lay when worn. How did this one get forgotten–glad it was rediscovered. :)
