Simple and elegant….as your designs always are. The colors and seeds you chose are perfect.

My first impression of your design was it’s light and airy. The amethyst shard is an unexpected element that adds to the Lightness. I really like your clever design.

Isn’t it fun to “beat up brass…” (and copper)? Have you ever beat up sheet brass or copper? That’s fun too.

Oh, wonderful! I love the wired Amethyst shard to the brass frame! I also like how you added the tiny teardrops within the ring too–I’ve not see that before. The simple ball chain works well in keeping the attention toward the focal. Very nice work Lynda! Did you purchase the rings from Lima? Inspiring! :)

Hi, all. Thanks for the encouraging comments! I did not purchase these from Lima, but they do have some great brass options that would be fun to embellish.
Some are already textured for you.

This is such a cool necklace. Very clever the way you used the teardrop beads and the shard. Just beautiful!

Beautiful. I really like the way you attached the focal to the bead chain with multiple jump rings. Good thinking. And the tear drops add nice movement. Lovely design.

Regarding the multiple jump rings….this was an after thought. I felt that the pendant needed a little more design “weight” at the top. Isn’t it great that just the addition of a couple of more jump rings brought a little design detail that makes it more interesting to the eye?
