About this design:

I’ve had these beads at least a year. I couldn’t find them because my bead room is always a mess. Finally found them today. I’m bored, so .... there’s the honest truth! Originally bought them because the colors are beautiful together-

The pearls and the lilac shadow rounds are all Swarovski . The olive green rondells are preciosa . The wavy discs in the front are Czech glass. I used gold findings and a simple hook for closure. It’s 20 inches long.

I always love these colors together, gives it that elegant, vintage look. Preciosa is the Czech line of crystal beads.

This is an exquisite necklace and earring set Robin. I love the color combo and the different types of beads and findings. Its the kind of style I would buy if I were buying jewelry, which I don’t now. I have sets similar to yours from years past that I made and others made for me. Its truly lovely.

Creating pretty things is a great use of ‘down time’! Maybe time to go dig around in your room again and find some more goodies!

Love the color and it definitely looks vintage. Great design.

You could perhaps wear this set with your red lipstick and got to Sonic? These colors will look better than brown with the red lipstick. :D

Beautiful set Robin! I agree it looks vintage. I’m interested in the background you chose. Is that an ink painting? Maybe watercolor? It’s beautiful too.

So elegant & sophisticated! The rich colors, crystals & pearls definitely create a vintage look. Upscale, ritzy, luxurious….you are unquestionably ready for your night out on the town! (or for Sonic!) :)

Ditto, it’s truly lovely! Is pour painting when you simply pour the paint on a canvas? It’s also beautiful!

MM, pour painting is pouring each color of acrylic paint in a cup with a pour mixture. Then layer your colors in a cup , add a drop of coconut oil serum( the kind you use on your hair.). Gently and slowly move your canvas around to get the look you want. The oil gives the cell shapes. I used a straw to get the look on mine- just blew the paint around. It’s fun- I love trying new things. Lots of videos on you tube

I’ve watched videos on pour painting. Your is by far the most beautiful I have ever seen. The softer colors look like a flower impressionistic design. Yours is truly amazing work Robin.

Gorgeous vintage looking pieces! I love vintage jewelry. Your painting is beautiful also. I tried a similar technique using water and paint on some ceramic Easter eggs. That is a fun Technique.
