What a beautiful stone Bev! You did a great job on wiring. I’ve been trying to wire a unakite stone for a while – needless to say I’m wasting a lot of wire. Your pendant will awesome with fall color clothes!

What a lovely stone. Your wrapping is just enough to accent and yet allow the beautiful, rich colors of the Jasper to be highlighted. Sometimes artists can overdo on the wrapping, but your choice here for simplicity was a good one. The swirls are just enough. Very nice.

Isn’t wire so much fun?! It’s probably my favorite medium and the most challenging I find. You,did justice to such a pretty stone. With wire it’s hard to find a “balance” with securing the stone safely and not covering it up or overpowering. You did a great job finding balance. Beautiful!

Thanks, LRC and Kristin! Kristin – it is fun and challenging, but I can’t create the delicate work you and my Kitty do. Our instructor told us to shake it like a rattle to make sure the stone doesn’t come out. We are looking forward to taking the advance class.
