About this design:

I was scrolling through you tube wiring videos, so I tried this one. I like the way the necklace turned out. Then I did the second stone-a little different. Does anybody have any ideas for the necklace? I’m tired- maybe I should walk away from it for a few days, but would love y’all’s input.

The necklace has freshwater square pearls in off white, copper Swarovski pearls, crazy lace beads, a couple pumpkin colored adventurine beads, copper spacer beads and matte copper colored seed beads. I have no clue what either stone is- they’ve been in my stash awhile. Copper wire and findings.

Love the glossy pearls with the warm tones of the copper! Walking away is a good strategy for a designer. Fresh eyes will guide you to your next steps. The second wrap design appeals to my eyes for what it’s worth…probably not much since my wrapping skills are blah. You’ll figure it out!

FB-thx-I struggle with wiring and end up wasting a lot of wire. I can’t wire the way I learned in a class. It was really technical, so I end up with crooked stuff and marked up wire. But I love trying new things ( I get that from my parents-they both loved to craft and always were trying new things). I marvel at the different skills I see on LB.

These wraps are gorgeous! So pretty! I love the bail on both pieces! It looks like you’re using square wire? I’ve tried square wire but I had so much trouble with it. I probably ought to give it a try again… I almost wonder if the stones are a type of jasper… Not sure. But, I do know these are very pretty and well done!

The second stone definitely looks like Leopardskin Jasper. The first stone, maybe Noreena Jasper?
I love the swirly bail and the necklace combines perfectly with that stone.

Beautiful work! I really like the square wire. You have created a lovely necklace to highlight the focal picking up that little bit of lighter color, then blocking the color up the sides. The wrapping on the second pendant is very impressive–love how you created the bail & swirls. With your creative ability, this one will also be an outstanding necklace when finished.

Beautiful Robin. Love both pieces. The necklace colors go so well together with the stone. And the swirly wirework on the pendant is wonderful.

All 3 pendants are beautifully wrapped and beautiful beads. The two “new” ones would look great with bronzite and some creamy colored beads or pearls.

You do such a wonderful job of wrapping. The square wire looks like it would be tricky to work with. Really beautiful work.

I really like your wire work on these stones and the way it allows the patterns to show. I find that frequently the current trend of having so many twists and curls of wire overwhelms the stones. Instead your wire work showcases them and makes them the focal point. Great wire work and beautiful stones.

I really like your beads and your pendants are great! I kept looking at the necklace wondering what the square beads were. Pearls?!?!! I love them. Your first stone has a bit of it’s own type of opal in it, maybe a jasper, maybe a hyalite? Just can’t remember. The other two must be norena jasper? Maybe?

Jogi-yes the square beads are freshwater pearls-I think they’re cool!

ths ladies for all you lovely comments and encouraging words!

I’ve tried wire wrapping pendants and know its harder than it looks! I think your examples here look great and I love the way the necklace turned out too.

I think the bottom stone is a birdseye jasper
