Turqoise Fun

About this design:

I love turquoise, so I decided to combine several elements to create a fun necklace that wasn't too serious. The chainmaille weaves are helm and half byzantine elements.

Aluminum jump rings, annodized aluminum jump rings, Zola dahlia openwork links, czech glass teardrops

JG-what a beautiful necklace. It’s so nice to see it on you-it looks lovely with your top. Chainmaille has always looked so difficult to me. Do you follow a pattern?

    Yes, Robin,
The seams are joined with seed beads Chainmaille can be easy or difficult, depending on the weaves you use. These two are easy.

I absolutely love this necklace as well as the blouse you made. That fabric is a beautiful color & pattern. It is perfect for your hair color, which happens to be the same as mine!

Fantastic–what a statement! I really like how you used the differing colors of blue in the rings which allow all the small details to be seen. They also give a lot of depth to the design. I love how you used the coin links on the bottom with the tiny teardrops. This is a stunning piece! Nice to see your work again. :)
