About this design:

I've had this GGS butterfly coin for forever and haven't been able to settle on a design I really like. I love these Fluorite hexagonal beads and thought they would be a good match for the coin. The peanut beads are also called Farfalle which means butterfly.

Components:

GGS butterfly coin, Fluorite, Chrysoprase, peanut beads, lavender Amethyst, Saki toggle, waxed linen...and the little bird there is just temporary.

I’ve always known those peanut beads as “farfalles” but I never knew it meant butterfly, nice to know. I like the spring color mix.

I got a text from the bird-she wants to stay! Your bracelet is adorable! I love all the textures and different pieces together.

Wonderful colors and a unique design. I especially like the GGS coin with its graceful butterfly. It fits right in with the colors. Fluorite with all of its patterns and colors has to be one of the most versatile stones and it works so well with the colors in your peanut beads and the overall design.

Wow, this is so lovely. Yours is the first I’ve seen where the peanut beads were used. At least that I was aware of. Anyway, love the colors and adore the butterfly coin. I love how it blends so well with the clasp. The little bird is so cute. I ditto all the technical comments used above. You are so talented.

Why is the bird temporary? Inquiring minds want to know. I love your bracelets, and this one is right up there with your beauties.

Beautiful bracelet sweetjane. Colors are fabulous. I really like how the little strings stick out – reminds me of butterfly antennae. Beautiful.

Thank you all for your lovely comments!! As far as the bird goes…I might keep her, but add a little pink bead to keep her company.

What a wonderful bracelet. The bumpy texture the peanut beads make is really a great look. It’s so much fun checking out all the unique components, colors and textures on your bracelets. Does the little bird have two homes? Great name by the way.

Very pretty! The soft colors work so well with the GG butterfly coin & charm. I also like the texture the peanut seeds add–they’re a nice representation of the differing surfaces in nature. I can spend an entire day trying to find the right mix of elements for a design–I envy how it comes so natural for you. I love your work SweetJane!
