Finally!

About this design:

I have been cleaning & organizing my jewelry spaces this entire quarantine. I came across these beads & just had to stop & design with them! I’m finally to the point of being able to start finishing past projects. There are bins of them!

Components:

Nepalese beads, raw brass spacers & bead caps, African focal bead, hemp cord

I love everything about these two pieces!! Great to see you back designing Moogie. The adjustable closure is great…and I have got to learn the snake knot for bracelets. I hope we will see more of your great designs!!

Moogie, these are beautiful! Are the beads similar to lampwork? I’m not familiar with the name. You’ve done an awesome job!

Bright, cheerful, happy, wonderful beads and a great design, too. I could certainly get sidetracked if I found such treasures.

This is fabulous! I didn’t know LB had these beads, I’m going to check them out! I’m interested in your bracelet closure … it’s different from the flat woven kind that slides, isn’t it?

Maggie’s Mom, the knot is called a whipping knot. When used around 2 cords, it’s a different style of adjustable knot. I still need practice with making knots but it was good enough for this casual design :)
Thanks for your feedback & welcome back! I’ve set things up to make photography easier. So I hope to post more.

Moogie, so happy to see your post! This is one outstanding set! I love the Nepalese beads with all their color & variety. The African bead focal was the perfect choice for this design. All the brass caps & spacers add a bold presence to the set, and I like how you set them off with the red knots. Now that you are all organized, and have bins of projects to complete, we can’t wait to see all those finished pieces! Hugs, been missing you. :)
