Very elegant. Reminds me of snakeskin, in a good way, of their beautiful patterns.

What a lovely weaving stitch that can be seen so clearly with the color of beads you used. The pearl focal makes this one special. Would definitely look great for an evening out at a fancy restaurant–I could surely use a night out on the town. Love your work Beady!

This is a beautiful way to show-off a lovely pearl. I especially like the way you ended the necklace with the herringbone stitch and more pearls. Such a great design.

You always come up with the most unique beaded pieces! This one shows off the single large pearl so well.

Thank you all very much. I wanted to add some kind of pendant to break it up and ran across the shell pearl.
Melody- yes it does resemble a snake. There was a snake on my kitchen rug the other day – a tiny one – thinner than a pencil – so beautiful. I think the cat brought it in. I was so happy I didn’t step on it. (It was hard to see because of the rug pattern.)

Love the pattern you have made with the different colors. And I do have to agree… it looks a bit like a snake. Beautiful bead work. It really showcases the pearl.

Many years ago I had a king snake in my class room. Grossed out some of the parents especially the Moms.
