Midnight Blue

About this design:

Lapis is one of the most gorgeous stones available to beaders. I especially like it when there is a generous amount of iron pyrite presnt. The pyrite sparkles like stars in a deep blue sky. This is a slight departure in style from my other wave cuffs. The waves are deeperand I've added a second row of beads across the front to give it a little more presence.

round and oval lapis lazuli, 14ga and 26ga silver wire

I just sort of fell into the wire work, D Snyder. I took a class to learn how to make a beaded cuff. Beautiful but they tend to be fairly big. After I posted my first wire cuff I saw a similar idea from one of the LB beaders. It was more in the style of a wave. I decided to see if I could adapt it to make a smaller cuff for a friend. It took three tries before I got one small enough. When I discovered I could get bare copper wire from Home Depot for a pittance I bought 25 feet of 12ga and went wild! However, my first attempts were made with Romex electrical wire left over from when I had some remodeling done. Then it was on to the heavy duty stuff.
I’ve attached 3 photos. The one with all of the gold colored beads is my first, The one with the blue, blue green is the really big one and the last is one of the first wave cuffs.
