“Isn’t she lovely “

About this design:

I’ve had this young lady in my cabochon drawer for years. I think she’s had a bit too much wine -but I think she’s hilariously adorable- and when I saw the red coral chips and diopside chips on LB, I found my inspiration! I found my myself humming “Isn’t she lovely” by Stevie Wonder- what a great song!

Components:

I got the cabochon in Kerrville, Texas at a craft show. I added the wiring and curly q loose copper hair. Beads include diopside chunky chips, coral chunky chips, frosted quartz (all LB) and variety of Czech beads, copper findings and of course a red suede strap

Yes, she is Robin and so is your design. I love the way you used the curly cues as hair. “a bit too much wine” – hahaha. Love the beads and chips you used also. AND the lovely wrapping around the pendant. Just great. (ps – I love that song also.)

“There was a little girl who had a little curl almost in the middle of her fore head.” Yes she certainly is lovely. Great wire work and color.

Ah, you know my friend, Longfellow! ‘‘Twas read to me as a child with great emphasis on when she was bad. LRC, thanks for reminding of that poem. I need to tell Izzy that poem. My mother loved poetry and read it often to me. Do you remember the old readers with Dick, Jane and Spot the dog?

Yes Robin – I remember. But with Dick, Jane and Spot – they always had some type of weather. I didn’t understand because I was in So. Cal. And they spent some time in the country.

And if I remember correctly – she was horrid.
