Arctic Peaches

About this design:

This is one of the pieces I put together using the Greek Pueblo beads. The lower section is attached to copper which is attached to copper metallic leather round. There is the Greek ceramic along with peach moonstone and copper.

Three Greek Pueblo Ceramic Arctic Blue Large Rondelle 16-18x20-21mm, two large hole copper donut spacers 16mm x 4mm, eight Peach moonstone barrel beads 14.5mm x 12mm, copper rounds 10mm and Greek Pueblo Ceramic Arctic Blue Textured Barrel 9-11x13mm. I twisted the 14G hammered copper into a link, and used 20 gauge wire to wrap around the beading wire as it attached to the copper link. I then added the 2mm copper metallic round leather to complete the rest of the necklace. It is tied at the back. I may change that.

I was wondering what you were going to do the the pueblo beads in a pick you did a while ago. They look awesome with the moonstone barrels. Awesome design.

I have tried to use what I have purchased but these biggies were hard. Elaina at Lima did something with the smaller disks and she used a peach moonstone so I went off to my box of beads and found these barrels. I am still working on more of the pueblos. I love the smaller ones but I do not like the big ones as much. I am trying to use them up and move on to the smaller ones in designs I like better.

Jogi – This is so pretty. The Greek Pueblo Rondeles are beautiful. Love your design. Is it heavy?

BLE, No, it is not heavy. However, had I done an entire around the neck piece, it probably would have been. The vintage copper beads are hollow and are copper plated on acrylic.

I really like how you used the larger peach Moonstone barrels along with the Greek Pueblo ceramics. They are a large in themselves, and the moonstone not only is a good color choice, but the size balances well in the piece. Nice copper wire connectors too.
