About this design:

Ok This is getting silly. Made this one for my daughter. Only used hot glue to hold the components to the pin. It is all sewn.

    Thanks all.
Robin – the body and hat are made from an acrylic scarf I bought at the Dollar Tree many years ago. I cut the scarf and wrap it around my finger to get the size I need for the body. Then the hat is cut and sewn into a point. I use a little stuffing in the body. I think 1 scarf will make about 80 – 100 little guys. I used a sewing machine and hand stitching.

Norwegian folklore says that one gnome is big trouble! Several together are Jul Nisse, good Christmas Elves. They still cause mischief but it is happy Christmas antics….now that you started you had better make a troupe! They are fabulous!!!

Your gnomes are so dang cute. Sounds like it’s a good thing you have at least 2. They would be adorable on a Christmas tree.
