Window sun catcher curtain

About this design:

The tree came down and the window was bare I live in the north and was needing some green I bought some house plants but still wanted something more ....I dug out my Czech glass beads that had been left over from other projects , this just made me happy ....now if only the sun would shine

I used the beading thread with the attached needle , lots of varied czech glass beads , no rules , totaly random just enjoy the process

I love the term orphan beads. I call my accumulated bead soup. This is such a great idea. I have 2 huge windows – actually a composite of 2 large windows. And I can’ get the windows open. So I can’t imagine doing that. But I sure love the concept. I like to make memory bracelets with as many of mine as I can.

Love, love, love this!! I still have my snowflake frame to decorate, but I will wait for next year to do that, and I will do this instead! Takes me back to the ‘beaded door curtains’. How did you attach them, with little nails? One could use a petite cafe rod and hang them from that. Thanks so much for this innovative & fun project! :)

Ahhhhhh, I’m just old enough that I was raised by sorta hippie parents. And this reminds me of beaded door curtains. Oh how I was fascinated with those when I was a very young girl! Yours are just beautiful. And I keep coming back to look at the photo. It is so beautiful all on its own — excellent photography!!! Thank you for sharing.
