About this design:

I have admired Elaina's layered necklaces and thought I would try one myself. It turned out all right...but I think I will give it to my friend Debbie.

I just noticed the ribbon looks a little tattered…I might take it off.

Lucky Debbie. I don’t see that the ribbon is tattered but if it is you should be able to replace it easily. I like that clear stone in the front. You’ve been busy lately, LOL. Very nice.

Yes, lucky Debbie. I love the combination of the tourmaline and the gold heishi. I would prefer to hang the dangles/pendant by the smaller of the wide circles, and move the green amethyst link with its jump rings to the group below and add something at the bottom of the link. Maybe a bird. Ribbons make fine nesting material. Just fantasizing. So much easier than making something.☺

All of your stones look so pretty with the gold. I really like your use of the gold noodles and heishi. Very nice. Debbie will be so happy.

Love how the beads stand out against the satin gold. This necklace includes all your special touches, but I like how you placed the link between the necklace & the focal–it seems to point down and say ‘Look at me!” Your friend will adore this piece and your thoughtfulness!

Thanks for all your great comments! I’m just not sure Debbie will like this or not. I think I’ll have to shorten it a bit. She’s rather a picky person.
