Dressy or Drab?

About this design:

Got inspired again and put these two together. I needed to make something for an employee of 33 years! She was born in May so she is emerald. I don't have any decent emeralds so I went with something green. Just hoping she will like one. This was the first time I used the teacup beads. Kinda cute, just a tad difficult getting on the waxed linen. Most supplies bought right here on LB!

What a beautiful palette of colors! I like that both can be worn together and enhance one another with the subtle differences of each. How thoughtful of you to be so kind to this loyal employee of so many years. This will touch her heart deeply. They are both lovely.

So pretty Jogi. I love all of the components you used. A wonderful set. 33 years. Wow – I’m sure she’ll love them. Had a hard time finding the teacup beads until I realized how small they are. Great designs.

Very pretty. The golds dress it up and the textures tone it down – what a beautiful balance! She’ll love it.

Definitely not drab…I really like both of them. I had never heard of teacup beads…but they are a great addition to your bracelets. I also like the teardrops you used. I am positive she will love them. Great gift!!

I’m a May baby and I love it! Definitely reminds me of spring and that birthday time of year, the colors are gorgeous, and great interest in the mix of beads. Thanks for sharing.

Nothing drab about these. They both have subtle color schemes but the varied bead shapes and textures make them interesting. Nice designs!

Thank you everyone. I keep looking at these and trying to figure out which I like best. I love the colors but I may try to put some with a greenish leather cord I have and see what it does.

Jogi….some of the Czech glass beads, in particular, are not meant for waxed linen… At least not 4-ply.
