The Wine Garden

About this design:

Wire wrapped bracelet. I've been working on this for a few days. Things have been stressful so a little wine was called for, plus I wanted to do a garden theme and I thought these red Jasper leaf beads were kind of a wine color. Maybe I should have called it The Whine Garden because I was focused on my own problems, only to learn that a friend has far worse ones. No need to elaborate. It just gives one perspective.

Components:

16,18,and 24 guage wire in gold and brown colors. Red Jasper leaf beads. 1 14mm golden rondelle. 11/0 pearl seed beads. Briolettes in 2 colors. Green crystal drop beads.

You always come up with some amazing designs!! I love your wirework! There is always someone worse off than we are. I still get very frustrated with my handicaps…I get mad…then I think of all the blessings I have in life…which are many.

Hello you guys. Thanks for the nice words. Kimberly, you most certainly can learn wire wrapping. When I started I gave up for a while. But I tried again after a time and am still figuring it out. Just begin. Sweetjane, you keep on keeping on despite your physical issues. That is strength. My friend, also my neighbor, was screaming when I got home. I think she has dementia as well as many other problems. But what she was screaming was so horrible. I considered calling the police, but no actual violence was occurring. We can’t deal with our challenges this way. Fresh Baked, wise words. We need balance in our lives. Creativity is a big part of that. Thank you all for the positive words. They are always needed.

Such an elegant garden bracelet, very nice. I love that you added lots of beads among the wire to really liven it up.

Lovely KR. So many colors and variety of beads. What fun. So sorry to hear about our problems and your friend. Sometimes life deals us some doozies.

Hi BLE. I’m glad you like it. My problems are no different from the ones we all have these days. I guess it’s just human nature to think it’s so important. I know a homeless veteran who told me he has learned not to take life so seriously. Just shows there’s wisdom everywhere. I hope you are doing well and dealing with the challenges of these times ok. I bought a bunch of beads yesterday. That certainly helps, LOL.

Thanks KR – Yes, I’m doing fine. Got my vaccines so I’m not washing each of my groceries for 20 seconds any more. Ha. This has been a trying year.
    Enjoy your new beads!

KR, I agree with your statement that creativity can add balance to our lives. Sometimes when things aren’t doing so well, a little time in the bead room can help us view any trail a little differently. Oh, and yes, ‘buying beads’ can be a sort of therapy too, as long as you can afford them! Great bracelet with many different aspects to admire. Keep your ‘chin up’ and hang in there!
