First Signs of Spring

About this design:

I thought at first I had chosen the wrong color beads for this necklace. But...maybe not...I think it all blends in. I have received medical clearance from both docs...surgery is eminent. I just don't know the date yet. I've got way too many things coming in the mail to stop now!

Components:

ceramic pendant, Czech glass, sea glass, ceramic beads, copper chain and waxed linen

If the pain is gone, cancel. This necklace is very pretty. Says spring softly. Thanks again for sharing!

Don’t stop until you have to take a break. You enjoy making the pieces and we all are enjoying seeing them. This one is very pretty. Also very Spring themed. You find the most interesting focal pieces, pendants, etc. I like the knotting. Learning micro macrame is on my bucket list. But I need to order the waxed cord and I somehow never remember. Got the board, the T pins, the videos flagged. And yet it isn’t done, LOL. Good luck with the surgery.

Thanks everyone for your kind words!! Melody, I’ve already let it go too long and risk permanent nerve damage if I don’t do the surgery.

Another beautiful creation, Jane! Love the colors, and those sea glass beads add such a light and flowing feel to the piece. Praying for your surgery to go well and that your recovery is speedy and not too painful.

Jane, love how you created a ‘dancing’ effect with the pink beads & sea glass by knotting them with space between. The pastel colors are lovely. Be patient with your surgery, and don’t rush the recovery–some things will just take time.

Fantastic pendant and the bead colors are great.

CC is right, don’t rush the recovery on your surgery and don’t be upset when the bandages come off. If your hand is like mine was it will look like bird claws on a skinny leg. That doesn’t sound too pleasant… just be prepared for things to look very different for a while.
