A Few More Pieces

About this design:

I love the colors in this focal fringe pendant...and had the orange wood beads. I had to do the sparrow over...I think it's better.

fringe focal, orange wood beads, gold spacers, gold chain, vintage black and green wood beads, brass bars, hand painted focal, waxed linen and gold lobster

Two very lovely necklaces. Very different but very pretty.

Very unique designs sweetjane. I love the lightness of the fringe with the delicate wire. And your redo of the sparrow is great but I also loved it the other way.

Nice! The color & softness of the fringe focal is so inviting–would be a fun piece to wear. I also like how you added the green beads to the sparrow piece–it brings that color out of the focal and pulls it into the design. Would love to see a close up of the sides and how you wrapped beads on the brass bar–elegant look that works well with the pendant. I do miss the rutilated Quartz teardrops in the front, something about them just worked so well for me. Either way, the necklace is great. I think I need to go visit your shop! :)

I never know what to do with little fringy things. But you always know how to use any kind of media. It’s very nice and so is the sparrow necklace. I like both versions of that one.

Both necklaces are very well done and beautiful.

I like this version of the bird pendant better too. The green beads look great. Maybe add a tiny pinecone somewhere, or not. The Orange necklace is very together, and on trend,as they say, including the paper clip chain. Love seeing your work!

That…C.C….was what I’m a little unsure of..wire wrapping the bars. I thought the bars had a hole running thru them..but they did not. So. I did the best I could with some 24g wire and some seeds…I mean it looks good on, but I’m not so sure it’s very professional. I think I’ll probably come up with a new design.

Jane, I love the wrapped bars. As long as they hang right, I think they have a distinctive look and are a fresh design idea. I know what you mean about a purchase that isn’t quite what you expected…I’ve go a few of those too! Thanks for uploading the picture!

I cannot say which I like better, all three! And, I agree about the wrapped pieces, they look really sweet. I have boxes of beads I shake my head over wondering why I bought them. You have done a beautiful on each of them, so sorry you don’t have extra sparra pendants to go with both styles! You could do a theme with them.

Hot fun in the summertime! The orange color is perfect for the beach… Cool little sparrow with great color, too. Love ‘em both!

Although I seldom comment, I do love your creations and find inspiration in each of them!
Re your hand surgery – we have a specialist hand therapist up here who I immediately saw ASAP and did all her exercises.
Please do not postpone your surgery as nerves do not regenerate, as I learned to my sorrow and thus the muscle capability is lost.
Please keep us posted on your recovery as we all look forward to your glorious pieces. Be well and take care …… Merilee xoxo
