About this design:

Last bracelet using the porcelain focals. I really love the messages from these pieces and this one says it all! I like reminders that pull me back to truth and all three of these pieces have done that so well! What kind of reminders do you use when you have to keep yourself focused?

Components:

Lots of Czech hibiscus flowers in 7mm, 9mm and larger. Varied sizes of Czech fire polished rondelles 3mmx5mm, 5mmx7mm and 6mmx9mm. Czech glass faceted rounds and I love the ones that are 4mm with a copper and picasso finish but also the 6mm yellow picasso and the turquoise 6mm matte finished ones, too. I see some 5mm melons and the chandelier cut 9mm, too. There is a single teardrop shape Czech glass in turquoise, too. And, the Greek Bronze cross pendant bead. All of them from LB, I think, along with the Irish Waxed Linen. The focal, clasp, and chain are from other places at other times. I think the chain was in my stash waiting for these focals.

This one does say it all. This bracelet has many beads to help focus on the focal piece. I have started dropping whatever I’m doing when I hear a siren, which happens several times a day, and pray for the first responder and the person in need of their help. Today the fire department was out on a call that I had prayed about. About 10 mins. Later another truck went out. The first truck was down the block from the second home. They ran down and pulled a bedridden man and his dog from a fire that destroyed the man’s home.

Amen! A favorite verse and one that you have beautifully highlighted!

Isaiah 54:10 has been a source of hope and grounding for me throughout my life. Reminds me of Corrie Ten Boom’s words: “There is no pit so deep, that God is not deeper still.”

These porcelain pieces have been great to work your pieces around. Lots of interesting beads to draw the eye. Hmmm. What keeps me focused? Truth is I often am not very focused, LOL. I guess Jazz helps focus me, at least with respect to her constant Diva demands. Other than that I tend to float from thing to thing and mood to mood. I don’t really mind.

Another great bracelet Jogi!! I know I wouldn’t be alive today if it were not for God…and the inspiration to keep going when it gets tough. I focus on the wonderful people in my life that God has blessed me with. Whatever my handicaps are…I can overcome them with my faith..and the joy in my heart.

Another beautiful and inspirational bracelet. I really like the rustic nature of the ceramic focal mixed with all the colorful Czech beads. The flowers are a nice touch.

Jogi, you have a great way of highlighting these inspirational focals with all of the colorful beads & flowers. One can’t help but to stop & reflect with appreciation on the verse, as well as all of the help we’ve personally received from the One that unquestionably strengthens us thru all our days. I also like to wear jewelry that reminds & encourages. With all the distractions & alarming news that surrounds us, we do need to stay grounded in remembering what the more important things are in life.

Thank you all, so much! I appreciate your words and I marvel in the universality of our experiences in relying on the One who is constant! I want to make more but alas I don’t find the “words” I want, like, Ancient of Days, or His Mercy is More, or Christ Alone. I have been saturating myself in music for the past few days or at least the days I am off. Today I allowed YT to pick them for me and I was not disappointed, except for one. I keep telling myself that the words that we saturate ourselves with and the words that we soak in and the words that we speak and think all keep us in the place that is safe and comforting and peaceful and constant. I am hoping to keep focused as best I can until July 26 when everything changes. I just know that One doesn’t change so I am good. Lamentations 3:19-24 says, The thought of my pain is, my homelessness, is bitter poison; I think of it constantly and my spirit is depressed.
Yet hope returns when I remember this one thing:
The LORD’s unfailing love and mercy still continue, Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise. The LORD is all I have, and so in Him I put my hope.

All is good! S Lazan, what is your address?
