Beady, I LOVE this little fellow! I like the uncomplicated rope design with it’s twinkling stars, and how you weaved the tree & night sky into the focal. You are so creative with your ideas. You must see them in your head before you start–and they translate in such a special way into small works of art.

He’s the all seeing, all knowing wise one. Who wouldn’t want to wear him everywhere! Nice!

He does not look lonely being the only owl in his tree. He reminds me of the book Owl Moon by Jane Yolen.

What do you call this kind of rectangular design? It’s going to bug me now. I used to repair jewelry for a bead shop’s customers. Beauty and The Beads in Orangevale. The owner loved making and teaching customers to make these rectangular pendants and I thought they had a particular name, but for the life of me I can’t remember now. Anyway, no matter. This one is so cute. Love the owl and the fringe. Another great BLE design.

I left another comment but it’s not here for some reason. I remembered what they are called. Amulets. Google Beaded Amulets and see how many different beautiful ones there are. Jennifer made gorgeous ones. I have never tried but maybe I will sometime. I think your design is a kind of Amulet with a nature theme.

Thank you all so much. Yes KR – a nature themed amulet. Just a fun little trinket.

Perfection. Love the bead color selections for the tree bark, owl & stars. Everything in the design is beautifully proportioned as well. Just perfect & I want to have one of my own!
