Take Five Earrings

About this design:

I've been taking Five lately. 5 minutes, 5 days, even 5 weeks. This is all I have accomplished in that time, but Jazz likes it when I don't work. I watched Yvonne Williams recent video on a beginner's bracelet and thought I could change it ever so slightly to make earrings, but it got changed far more than that, and really it's no resemblance at all. But as you guys know, we don't decide what things are going to be. They just be. I rarely use pink but I do like these Jesse James teardrop beads.

Components:

Pink teardrop beads. 20 guage and 24 guage wire. Pearl drops. Red rondells. Handmade ear wires.

Very nice! I think the way the two wires cross over the teardrops is gorgeous. Adding the pearls to the ear wires creates beautiful length to the earrings too. Sometimes all the ‘visual’ can hang low with this type of earring, but you helped bring the eye upward with their addition. Classy!

So pretty KR. I love the pearl drops and red rondelles with the teardrop beads. Very fancy.

Thanks guys. Glad you like them. Crystal, you should have a look at Yvonne Williams recent video for a beginner’s bracelet. She’s a good teacher and the bracelet is really pretty. That is what I started out thinking of making, so you will see how incapable I am of doing what I set out to do, LOL. But I know you could do it. You’ve already done far better than I ever did starting out. And yep, it does get to your fingers. Compression crafting gloves can help.
