About this design:

It seems I've broken one of my design rules. The one were I try to do things in odd numbers. But I wanted to see what a half and half design would look like. Hmmm....what rule should I break next? This is fun.

Weave Got Maille jump rings for the Half Persian 4 in 1 chainmaille weave, 18 & 20 gauge wire, Peruvian Turquoise 8mm rounds (LB), and my handmade clasp for the necklace.

When it comes to design “rules”….All of ‘em!!
This is really cool! Balanced in it’s dichotomy….beautiful! I think you’re on the something here. :-)

I love this also. Half and half is so much fun. The turquoise beads are beautiful with the 2 tone chainmail. Just beautiful.

Rules? We don’t need no stinking rules, LOL. The turquoise is beautiful. Chainmail looks hard to do. You do it very well. It’s perfect.

I always love your chainmail pieces….they are always right on! This one is no exception. I have always thought rules were made to be broken.

Hey I’m into asymmetrical and these aren’t that different. I do like the contrast between the metal and stone and the colors and textures. Great color and design.

Now about those rules…. According to Vladimer Lenin, the godfather of communism, “Rules are like piecrust… made to be broken.” (Actually he said promises are like pie crust… but I’m sure he would have felt the same way about rules.)

Standout & exceptional set! Using the two different colors in the chainmaille has such a ‘smart’ and stylish effect. I love it paired with the warm tones of the Peruvian Turquoise! Isn’t it great to step outside our own rules when creating? This really is beautiful work Kye! :)
