About this design:

I was determined to make something this morning and I had an excess of purple/lavender beads....thanks to Nancy. That was the only toggle I had. I don't think this is a keeper...but it has given me ideas on future designs.

Components:

brass butterfly, ceramic beads, Lampwork lentil, farfalle, Czech glass, ribbed toggle and waxed linen

Jane , I love this! I love pink/ and that big bead with purple stripe is gorgeous! Your selection of colors is always spot on! Pink was my mother’s color too! Love it!

Hi ho, Jane… my caregiver picked up an 8.5 x 11″ envelope of beads for you. I’m assuming she’s mailing it today. I won’t know until I see the receipt as to when you’ll receive it. I think this is a very lovely bracelet but then I love purple & lavender, etc. The only thing I’d change is that black bead – at least it looks black – and replace it with some shade of purple or lavender or pink. That big lavender bead with the purple stripes has always been a favorite.

Love this sweetjane. The pinks and raspberry and purples work together so nicely. And I love the butterfly.

Lots of wonderful beads in this bracelet–love the ceramic one with stripes & dots. The three strand section reminds me of the ‘dancing’ flying pattern of a butterfly. O.K., maybe that’s corny, but that’s what I see at first glance. I really like the mix of purple/pink colors. Another great job creating such an intriguing piece.

I have to agree with Pam. I wouldn’t change it. The colors are beautiful.

Wow! This is just the right combination of beauty and creepiness to be really interesting. The butterfly looks like a skeleton of its former self, but I love it that way. I’m a purple fanatic, and everything in this bracelet works for me.

What a great piece! Beautiful colors and design … lovin’ it. That toggle picks up the green in that larger bead.
BTW, how are your wrists and hands?

CRG…..My left hand is great…and that’s the one that had surgery. My right acts up from time to time…but I just have to live with it. I had bad shoulder surgery a couple of years ago, which left me with little use of my left arm. I walk with a cane so I couldn’t possibly do without my right arm. That’s the way it is.

Thanks everyone for your great comments. Maybe this bracelet isn’t so bad. I think I’ll give it a friend of mine who has MS and loves purple.

I don’t know why this wouldn’t be a keeper. I think it’s gorgeous. You have such a special color sense. I’m glad you’re thinking about giving it away instead of tearing it apart.
