Forest Fairy & Fairyettes

About this design:

The work of Melanie Brooks inspired me to try these polymer clay faces. I used a mold ,to make mine.
The colors look darker than they really are. I'll have to try again...
I made a necklace with them but it didn't work so waiting for a bit...
I just like the idea of fairies, pixies...As a child, living in rural Quebec, I would sit outside on hot summer nights and watch the fireflies in the fields around our home.I always pretended that they would look like "tinkerbell" if I could just sneak up on them :)

Polymer clays, glaze, Brass bails

Very nice poly claw work, Trinkets. It’s hard to see, but it looks like they are strung on cloth or ribbon. Anyway, very nice work.

Melanie does her own hand carving & shaping…I’m not good at things like that…I have to use molds!! lol..
I did enjoy making the tiny leaf canes & little berries for around their heads tho…I’m still waiting for a good idea of how to string them…The large one could be a brooch too….

    Thanks for you nice comments!!
