pink cadillac

About this design:

I like the way the components of this piece contrast on the one hand (i.e. the warmth of the copper teardrops versus the black-icy hematite) and unify on the other (i.e. the rose quartz and copper in color, and the two faceted round stones in shape and texture.)

I may have a hard time parting with this one. :)

Faceted hematite from LB, copper ovals, faceted rose quartz, copper clasp.

Susan – quite honestly, I probably would not have thought to use rose quartz in this piece but looked at what I would have missed out on? It all goes together so beautifully. Another hit from you. Into my faves as well. That’s one of the things I love about this LB site, it allows us to see the creativity of fellow bead lovers and think outside the box. Keep em coming …:-)

Thanks everyone. The encouragement and support here is so incredible!

Cecilia, the rose quartz stones I used were kind of unusual–the had a deeper, dusky tone than most of the more pastel stones I’ve encountered. I think that’s why I was inspired to use them in this combination. :)
