Tribal Mask Set

About this design:

This was a set I made for an animal rescue group fundraiser a few years ago. The focal is a faux-ivory mask that I found in a shop that had a lot of scrimshaw and Maori fish hook jewelry components.

Faux-ivory, bone, wood, brass, glass

This is awesome, and a fave. Love how it looks, and as I do animal rescue myself, I love the symbology behind it as well. :)

Thanks for the compliments. This was one of my very early sets, and truthfully, I loaded it while trying EVERYTHING I could to find eggs! I’ll have to take pictures of some of my more recent projects and share them.

Thanks for sharing – yes, love to see more of your work. Its eggsceptionally nice!! That’s a “yoke” get it? We all have “scrambled” brains about now from all the egg hunting.

I don’t think I have any brain left, scrambled or not! I haven’t been to bed yet – I stayed up all night looking for eggs. I’m obsessed at this point!

Thanks for the comments. I’m really more of a seed beader these days because I mostly have to beed in my lap in a recliner because I can’t sit up in a regular chair at a table for very long – maybe a couple hours at the most, and then my back pays for it. I’ll have to get back to making more stringing/wirework projects.
