If I had this necklace I don’t think I would wear it. It looks more like piece of art and I would hang it somewhere, maybe on a mirror. It’s tre cool. Your daughter has great taste in beads. I love the fishie.

Beady, you did an awesome job on this. Love the fish. Have you ever considered doing tutorials on you tube or selling your patterns? I know there’s lots of tutorials
out there, but they look like anything you do.Love your necklace!

Thanks so much Robin. No, I never thought of selling my patterns. I don’t know if I could make it clear enough. There was quite a bit of trial and error in this piece to get the components to line up nicely. But Thank you – maybe I could try it.

I can see why you’re keeping this one. It’s a real beauty. A flexible enamel fish? Cool!

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish…..
But yours is a cute, little, articulated/flexible, multi-color fishie (say that 3 times really fast).
Love the three strand design, the great colors you have chosen, and the interesting mix of components.
Question… the tiles… are they perchance abalone? I don’t think you could get tiles from albacore since it doesn’t have a shell.

Hahaha. LRC It’s abalone of course. Not something you’d find on a tuna. Glad you like it. I’ll change the description.
Thanks kye. Yes the little metal fish is jointed and enameled.

Beady, I love the articulating fish! The three strands with all the varied colors of blue portray the waves & currents that he’s swimming within. I especially like how you executed the back with the 3-hole bars. Such a whimsical & fun piece–I’m glad your keeping it for yourself. :)

Thanks Crystal! The fishie is so fun. I wasn’t sure how to attach all 3 woven chains together – then I saw the 3 holed bars.

Thanks for the picture! I like how the fish lays offset & appears to be heading ‘upstream’. It’s great to make our own jewelry! :)

Yes Crystal – it’s so fun to make jewelry. It’s been about 2 1/2 years for me. I’m trying to figure out a chicken design. Ha.

I’ll be waiting for that one for sure! I love chickens although I’ve never had any. You’ve sure come a long way in just 2.5 years–I’m shocked to hear you’ve only been beading that long. Your work definitely speaks otherwise!

Thanks Crystal. Chickens are harder to bead than they look. Haven’t come up with a design I like yet.
