About this design:

I had 4 pairs of ear rings that I wanted to post together but my computer had other ideas. You can't win an argument with a computer so you try to circumvent it. That's what I did. Computers aren't smart they are just fast.

Just another simple pair of ear rings with on open diamond shape that I guess you could call it a chandelier. The bead is one of the Greek sea creatures from LB that has a green patina. I really like the color combination but design looks a little sparse so I may rework it. Maybe I should put the pair in the closet for a week then see how I feel about the design.

Components:

GP open diamond, GP ear wires, pewter bead with patina

LRC – I believe the sparseness highlights the beautiful beads. They really stand out. This is a lovely design.

I bet these swing well and catch the light just enough to be interesting. Really like the design.

I love the twisted wire and the bead. I can imagine wearing these on a sunny day and the glittery shine reflecting from them. Also, some of us need lightweight earrings.

These are great just as they are. The findings really flash the light. Simple designs are often the most elegant.

I agree with th others- they look awesome just the way they are . I love patina with gold. You can dress it up or down. Great job LRC!

These are great LRC! I wouldn’t change a thing, sometimes the first take is the best take! Hopefully you are able to post the other 3 pairs, love to see what else you come up with. love the green patina with gold, a perfect match.

I also love them the way they are…but often, when I’m not sure of a design, I’ll put it up to see if I still like it , or if I have any new ideas.

Thanks everyone. Y’all brighten my day with your comments, suggestions and compliments.

sweetjane, I frequently do just what you have suggested. I “put it in the closet” (put it up) and leave it for a few days then reevaluate and see if it looks better.

I’m with the others, simplicity of design can sometimes be more desirable than a lot of ‘fancy’. Usually, you can wear these types of designs with more outfits, rather than an elaborate pair that only goes with a few. But if you’re still feeling uncertain, the closet is definitely the best place for ‘time-out’–they can join all my UFOs behind closed doors and have a party while they wait! :)
