Autumn leaves

About this design:

This is the other fringe bracelet - fall leaves . I started with a pattern. It was fun to make , but again, I had to totally know where my thread was at all times. I didn't have the exact colors of the beads in the pattern. I used what I had. I'm happy how it turned out. Almost forgot, I did a little round peyote stitch for the clasp.

Components:

8/0 base seed beads in a terra cotta color. The leaves are pumpkin, mustard, antique copper, bright copper, raspberry, a green lined jonquil, old gold and a pastel peach 11/0 seed beads. I painted the button with patina. 6 lb fireline.

Autumn Delight! All the fringe & seeds look like clustered little berries. I love the fall colors & the bright orange button. This is like a wreath for your wrist! Fantastic work Robin!

Oh Robin, my goodness this is wonderful – it’s like a little Autumn wreath for your wrist. I absolutely love the colors you have here and the button is the perfect match and brings the whole piece together. I hope you can keep this for yourself to wear on Thanksgiving? It would be perfect – I love it!

I wish you could post a little video showing how you do this. Are there lots of knots? Or do you just go in and out the base beads? Is it hard to keep tension? Do you know of any tutorials online for making fringe bracelets?

Melody, I chose 7 different colors of 11/0′s. Then you string on your fire line your 8/0 to the desired length. I did 6 3/4 inches put a stopper bead on both ends. you go in and out of the base-I did it 3 times. The pattern is on etsy at simple beading patterns. I got the Christmas bracelet pattern from there as well-modified them to bracelet length

Lovely Robin. A great bracelet with great colors. Love your button. Lovely little leaves. I’d love to wear that today.
I also love using lots of colors but hate putting them away. And the tangled fireline! Ha.
