A Gaea Halloween Trio

About this design:

All three of these necklaces feature Gaea's creations. Her beads and pendants are addictive. I call her the beady temptress on FB lol.

Sorry I haven't been around. I check the site every day and look at all the great creations but never comment. Sorry. Lots of life changes have happened and continue to. But I'm actually doing pretty good in the financial area, for once in my single life.

1st)Gaea pendant & beads. Tibetan agate. Marsha Neil disc bead used as button. Black seed beads. Black S-lon cord. (I have added black cord above the tiny skull, which I unraveled and then applied a bunch of nail glue to it to make it stiff. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2nd) Gaea pendant & beads. Red wood beads (that were with the pendant). Tibetan agate(looks ancient!!!💜). Tiny skull beads. Marsha Neil disc bead & skull as button. Wood beads as button loop. Hemp cord. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3rd) Gaea beads. Jangles connector bar. Pink tumbled opals. Coconut shell beads. Twine cord. Lobster clasp.

Thanks Pam. I just made that one. The 2nd one I made last year and it is my fave because of those agates. I am in love with those beads.

Deb, it’s so good to see you in the gallery again! I’ve surely missed your fantastic designs & conversation. I see Mousy in the Find Beaders section & often wonder how you’re doing. You’ve done a great job with these Gaea beads! The Tibetan Agates are a very cool choice because of the their distressed & aged finishes. I really like how you used the discs for buttons too. I’ve always admired your creative way of making closures for your pieces–they are unique & true to your style. Been missing you! Take Care Deb.

Deb- great necklaces for Halloween. I think my favorite is the one with the pink opals. I have tried to put black in some of my designs- not a good thing for me/ it always looks ridiculous! You and CC have done a great job with it. Good to see your work again!

Thank you Kye, Crystal and Robin.
Crystal some of my “ingenuity” regarding closures was necessity because of not having anything that matched. The first two necklaces are examples of that. I ordered a bag of disc beads from Marsha Neil and I had no idea what I was going to do with them. So it’s buttons! If you look at the first necklace I tied the cord through several times and it ended up looking like a web!! Not my intention but I like it.

I use black a lot actually Robin because I wear it a lot. But there are a lot of colors I’m can’t easily design with.

Deb, I did notice the ‘web’. I thought the black cord looked great over the ivory disc. :)

I added a photo of the button on the first necklace to show how it accidently looks like a Wed over it.

It’s purple and ivory and perfectly matches the Gaea pendant!!!! Such luck!!!

Both of you have been posting some great designs here. I just never comment because I’m checking the site in the morning as I’m getting ready. So no time to talk/comment.

You had way too much fun with these necklaces. The black and white beads in the first one look like a string of evil eye beads…kinda spooky. Love the wonderful selection of beads you have used and the focal with whimsical frazzled cord. Well heck, I love ‘em all!
