This is a perfect Christmas ornament! Once we started using artificial trees, we would start decorating for Christmas on Thanksgiving night. I have had my tree and nativities out since last Christmas. I will put Some of the nativity sets away and get out some different ones since I collect nativity sets.

How did you do that KIM? Very clever indeed! I know that was expensive but your aunt will be thrilled with it. I’m all about buying Christmas gifts as soon as I get my November check. Of course I’ve got jewelry planned for people.

Bev your right on track actually, A newscaster this morning said ” just 57 days until Christmas ” and that shocked me a little it seems like it’s just around the corner when he put it like that …..GZ , I think because it’s been so warm here it just didn’t feel like it was time yet but we finally have a chill in the air now….Thank you for all the kind comments and encouragement :) You can still see part of the tree on the bottom of the truck but I don’t think my aunt will really care about that …. Pam, I love that you collect nativity sets …..I seem to always get the ones that have been passed through the family and I love the idea of keeping one out all year …. Jane I used E6000 and glued the lipstick ranch pine tree to the back of the Gaea truck pendant. Then used craft wire and strung seed beads on the wire then wrapped it around the tree then took sari silk ribbon and wrapped that between the seed beads tucked it into the craft wire and glued it , glued a czech star on top then hung the ornament using chain and jump rings just like I was making a necklace or bracelet

That little truck is priceless. Your ornament is one that will always be a family treasure. You need to attach one of those little tags that say, “Made with Love.” Handmade ornaments for family members are always the very best kind.
