    Midge, these are both lovely. I, also, do a lot with enameled pieces for earrings. I used to live in Connecticut …a kissing cousin. You missed the Fall up there. I loved the Fall in Connecticut!

    Ditto to all of the above comments. Love the enamel pieces you used for the ear rings. The pair with the poppies are real show stoppers! However, the blue ones are pretty terrific too.

    I love both pairs! More drawn to the blue pair as they have a strong symboli/ceremonial feel, bringing together the earth and the sky; and life and the afterlife. The top bead reminds me of the planet Saturn, while the fanned arrangement of blue stripes on the charm reminds me of native american “stick” games. And the soft bead clusters remind me of the ancient funerary beads found in Egyptian tombs. The poppies are gorgeous, too!
