Guess my description didn’t upload either. Just saying that the dorks (aka pups) and I had a good Thanksgiving. I only bought a turkey leg since it’s the only part I like. And they got boiled beef kidney. They love it but it really stinks. And I made some pearly stuff. And looky looky what arrived today from Walmart. Animal Crackers! 2 others jars will be going into the pantry. I shall not be denied due to shortages! LOL.

You’re too funny KR! Yes girls do need pearls and a go to cookie. Mine is a good ole chocolate chip or chessman cookies. The best part of our thanksgiving dinner was the homemade cranberry sauce- I love that stuff. Back to your jewelry- you did an awesome job on the bracelets- and the earrings are delightful!

Who doesn’t love pearls!?!? These are lovely. I love the chocolate animal crackers…Only $1 per bag at DollarTree…but going up in price since they are no longer doing the $1 deal anymore; sign of the times

Party earrings!! and…bracelets to match! Lovely creations! I had a vegan thanksgiving with my next door neighbors and their 4 month old baby. It was delightful.

Love the pearls, love the animal crackers. The designs of the bracelets are ultra fem and the workmanship is outstanding…. Now about those animal crackers, when you gotta have ‘em best to have a large quantity. Running out of them at midnight…. the very thought makes chills run down the spine!

Hi guys. Glad everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving. Sweetjane what does a vegan Thanksgiving entail? Is it a tofu turkey or something else although? But you know, we can eat anything we want at any time of day or on any holiday, because there are no rules LOL. Glad you enjoyed it. I have a question for you all. It has nothing to do with jewelry. But I am considering buying a rumba for myself for Christmas. Is it worth it or just a gimmick? Does anyone have one? The dorks shed and drag in so much leaves and dust and dirt. The amount of dust bunnies and hair -oh the humanity! As I get older I keep trying to find ways to make my life a little easier. Thanks for everyone’s kind words. Stock up on your favorite cookies and other things you like. The ride is far from over and that’s why I just have to act so downright silly.

I approve of everything! The bracelets are so pretty and the earrings, pop! Cookies are a staple and you could eat them for Thanksgiving, too, if you wanted. I like the ones in a bag at the dollar tree. They are crisp and fresh. But, they do not last long.
The vacuum. I don’t have one but when I get rid of some of my stuff, I will. I have friends who swear by them. They have them ripped and ready at all times. And one of the friends has a mower just like it out in their yard, always ready to take off and trim the zoysia. Just a cautionary note, if there is an accident in the house, be sure it is cleaned up before you send the rumba out. It can be overwhelming to clean that up.

Thanks Kim, and thanks for the advice Jogi. I’ve got a number of projects going on and a huge wish list. I suppose the roomba isn’t a necessity and I might wait a few more weeks, but I think that everything that makes less work for me is a good thing, as I have definitely been feeling my limitations in recent years. So I will get one when I find a sale.

Wow Kathleen, these are gorgeous! You’ve got me thinking that every woman needs to have pearl jewelry. The way you weaved the pearls together is so very eye-catching. I really like how the little ivory seeds you placed around the pearls looks like lace–impressive. On the subject of cookies–the best we have for sweet things in our house are the small ginger cookies from Trader Joes. When stress sets in, though, I totally need some chocolate! :)

    K Ralston says:

Crystal, seriously, get your chocolate and cookies, and whatever you need to provide stress relief today. I was just on the Walmart website. They have a quick reorder page with your favorite items to reorder. I paid something like $5.50 for that jar of animal crackers. Today they want $9.20. I say no way to that. I’m glad I bought a couple extra jars for the pantry. Most of my reorder items are out of stock anyway. Good grief.

Love all the pearls KR. Love the double bead caps. And the pearls and seed beads are wonderful together. They look old fashioned to me. Just great!

Love your creations, K! I am partial to pearls since they are one of my birthstones. Keep creating, and don’t run out of animal crackers! :)
