Butterfly Cuff

About this design:

Butterfly Ear Cuff. I included pics of the steps as someone commented on an earlier cuff that they would like to see how it is modelled.

20g brass wire, glass butterfly beads and gold seed beads

I really like the contrast in this one between the brass wire and the green beads. Those little butterflies are so cute. I think the way they twist & turn would look like they were flying past your ear. I’d also like to see these modeled. Thanks for the how-to photos too. :)

This is a cute one with the butterflies and lighter green beads. I would still like to see them on a person’s ear.

My favorite one is the one with the big drop bead, but this is also very pretty. Thanks for the extra pictures of how it’s done.

Ok when you said modelled, I though you meant how the actual item was modelled or molded it to whatever it is, lol. Here is a pic of what they look like.

NK, Thanks so much for posting the picture! What a great effect & extra sparkle for the ear. There are so many possibilities. Do they stay on well, or can they fall off if you do a lot of bending over? I bet you have many in all different colors!

They stay on pretty well, you just squeeze the cuff part tight enough. I had one I made that was a bit heavy so I I folded the top so that the swirl was behind the ear and then you give it a little squeeze to grip the ear.

Love the motion in the bended wire. Thanks for all the photos. Wonderful work.
