Mom's lariat
About this design:
My mom likes to wear her lariat necklaces to the side ...as if wearing a scarf with a pin on the side if that makes sense .....it was strange to lay the piece out this way but she was happy and I loved the colors I added a photo of a white jacket to show you how she wears them

Your supportive and kind comments are so appreciated….Chicky , I remember as a child my mom was always dressed up …she worked for an accountant then as a school math teacher so she always wore a nice blouse , skirt and always wore a scarf with a pin to the side ….strangely her mom and sister ( also teachers ) always wore a scarves also but they always pinned theirs in the front ….when she asked me to make her a lariat like mine , But one that she could wear off center …. It felt odd to me laying the focals out so they would lay how she wished but after the fact I have to wonder why I have never thought to do this myself ….it seems so simple really LOL ….jane and Crystal I feel so dumb not ” thinking outside the box ” before this…jogi , I have actually seen beading crocheted into a necklace / scarf it was pretty amazing ….maybe someday I can figure that out
