Turtle Bracelet

About this design:

As in my other bracelet, this is another spring bracelet to help me get out of my “winter blues”. My kids were sick last Christmas and again this Christmas. Anyhoo…. Turtles make my granddaughter, Izzy, happy. So they make me happy too.

Ceramic turtle cuff by Suzieqbeads. The minty green bead is from Darcy Wishard. The green bead is LB. That colorful bead is from Etsy. It reminded me of a beach umbrella or a beach ball. I love it! Lobster claw painted with patina. Linhasita wax cord. The seed beads and frosted rounds were in my stash. The aqua color glass beads were from my stash.

Robin, this is awesome. I know, I use that word a lot but it is. I love turtles too, and all wildlife. I understand the winter blues, although the last 3 days you wouldn’t know it was winter here. The pups and I are on the patio. The hummingbirds are visiting. I’m feeding the wild birds and squirrels. They are all so damned happy! Haven’t they heard that the world is going to hell in a hand basket? Nope, because they have a sucker taking care of them. Me. Anyhoo…. Climate being as erratic as it is, you may see an early Spring as well. I love the creamy color of the focal. And all the interesting and beautiful beads you used to compliment it.

Very pretty! I need to try the patina on a clasp for the heck of it.

Lots to see in this bracelet! It would be fun to wear. You did the multiple strand area beautifully. I love the beads you used, especially the multicolored one from Etsy. The turtle focal is charming. Good job!

Wow Robin, you really are having fun! This really reminds me of a delightful day spent on the beach. And what’s a day on the beach without a ‘beach ball’?! The multi strands of seeds remind me of waves coming in on the sand–and they’re a perfect place for the turtle to take a plunge. This is a great design! :)

I really like this! When I first noticed it I thought the turtle was a volleyball. Can’t unsee it now but I do also see the turtle and you can’t be on the beach without a volleyball if you went there with friends from the volleyball team. At least that is what I am telling myself for missing the cute turtle. And, when I was in high school in North Central Florida, most of the friends that skipped school to go to the beach with me, were also on the volleyball team. So, it still reminded me of the beach! But I love the turtle! Your colors are wonderful, as usual.

Another beauty. The turtle is really neat and the beads you used really showcase it well. Again I think your photography is outstanding. Well done!
