About this design:

This was ,actually, a failed attempt...either that or I'll keep it. I didn't have enough waxed linen to properly finish the bracelet. I hate doing things over! The second one just came together...I don't know if I'll put it in my shop. We are about to get a huge snow storm...the power will more than likely go out.

Components:

Vintage Lucite, Carnelian, Czech glass, gold toggle, Jade, White Agate, farfalle, Rock Crystal, brass toggle

Jane , these are so pretty! I especially love the pastel colored bracelet- that heart charm is adorable and the color combinations are awesome. Hope you have a generator if you lose power. Let us know that your safe!

Jane both bracelets are beautiful! I love the pastel bracelet! It’s my style and colors. I hope you stay safe and warm during your storm.

Everyone seems to like the pastel bracelet best, but I like the orange one best. I can’t tell it’s a “fail.” I hate do overs too, LOL. But I don’t think you really have to with these. I hope you have a way to get through the snow storm with a little light and warmth at least. Let us know you are ok when you can.

Yes- Beautiful bracelets. I love the rectangular hole on the orange bracelet that is repeated in the clasp. And the pastel one is so lovely with the heart drop and another unusual clasp.

Thanks you all! They were predicting almost a foot…but I don’t think we got maybe 6 to 8 inches.
That’s a lot for Asheville. Actually, it’s still snowing, so who knows. The power has flickered a few times. Thanks to my friend Debbie…I am prepared. She brought over a cooler with hummus and chicken salad…and my neighbor brought over homemade soup.

Winter can be tough around here also. We bought a generator in the summer but it didn’t arrive until the end of December. So we can’t install it until the spring. Then our furnace quit working. It was a lousy week for such cold. Luckily our furnace was fixed right away. Glad I have a fireplace.

More wonderful bracelets. Hard to pick a favorite. I am so ready for spring so I’ll pick the second one. I especially like the sweet heart charm.

I am grateful to have such great friends and neighbors . I am concerned about Nancy…she lives in an area that typically gets a lot of ice and power outages. I hope she’s okay!

Ooh! Autumn and Spring Equinox bracelets. Both are beautiful. I gravite towards the orange because Fall is my favorite season.

I’m OK Jane. We didn’t have even one power outage. Living in a facility like this, they usually get our power back quickly. Plus there’s an assisted living facility just up the road a bit. We had some snow and ice but not having to go anywhere but look out the window once in a while.. I forget how nasty it was out there. Downtown Charlotte had a crazy mess. Some nutty person ran into a power pole and ran off without reporting it. The pole came down and was clear across the street.

Anyway, both bracelets are really great but I’m already getting in the mood for some spring colors so if I had to pick a favorite it would be the pastel bracelet.

Beautiful bracelets Jane. I think the charm drops on both make them extra special. Yes, a little more warmth & sunshine would be great–cold & rainy here for the week–perfect opportunity to spend the day beading.
