Spring Green
About this design:
I made this focal a few months ago and put it aside because I had no idea what to do with it. After seeing it with fresh eyes I decided to try finishing it. I'm kinda on the fence about it. I decided to post it and get some feedback.
Components:
6mm round Parrot Green Fire Agate, 10mm glass disc beads, 20 gauge Artistic Wire and Weave Got Maille jump rings for the Roundmaille chainmaille weave.Additional Images:

Crystal Canary says:Kye, the double wire wrap around the beads is excellent! I’m not sure I’ve seen the wrap done like this before–was it tough to do? I really like the transition between the focal & chainmaille using the spotted green beads. The speckles in them bring a unification of color & metal in this design. I wouldn’t change a thing–this must wear perfectly on the wrist.

kye says:Thank you for the helpful sweet feedback. I guess I’ll leave it as is. I can be really insecure about my work sometimes. Robin, no shop. What I sell is just thru word of mouth. CC, the wrap wasn’t hard at all. This was my first go at it. I’m kinda partial to the way rope-like chainmaille weaves feel on the wrist. Very silky and comfy.

Fresh Baked says:Love the green and copper! When making bracelets, one thing I always have to check is how it sits on the wrist. Is it balanced? Does the focal stay on the top of the wrist or does it end up underneath because it’s too heavy? I have had to redesign more bracelets than I care to count because if this design issue.

kye says:Thanks Fresh Baked and Moogie for the feedback. Luckily this bracelet sits on the wrist comfortably and the focal doesn’t end up underneath. There’s nobody around to give me much feedback on my designs so I’m thankful for this site. I’ve learned so much here.
