Black Rose Choker
by Beady Little Eyes on 05/02/22
About this design:
MY daughter found this heavy plastic Black Rose bead in my stash and said she'd love a necklace with it. Well all it wanted to do was hang straight down - facing the floor. So - I thought a choker might work and it did! It works off center also.

Crystal Canary says:Very dramatic! I really like the matte seeds & how they play against the shiny black rose. The green leaves are the perfect ‘Beady’ touch. Such a symbolic piece. Your daughter will look stunning wearing this one!

dolllady aka Pam says:What a statement that would make at a NYE party with a shiny silvery gown! I can think of numerous other party dress colors

Melody F says:I’m what a transformation! A plastic rose into a dramatic, romantic, dressy necklace. Your daughter must have your insite as to possibilities. And she must have quite the collection of Lucinda’s Bead Art.

Little Round Chick says:You certainly gave this plastic rose a lot of class. It definitely is dramatic and I have to agree with Pam. Wear it to a NYE party with a shiny silver dress/gown!

Robin nursechick says:So much potential with beauty. Dressy-absolutely, but would look awesome with western wear too. There’s lots of roses in western wear. Picture this- A western style sundress, blinged out flip flops (also very western)or boots and this beautiful choker- ready to go out 2 steppin!

Beady Little Eyes says:Thanks to all for the wonderful comments.
Robin – I never thought of western wear (or blinged out flip fops – so funny!).
Whenever I saw this black rose it reminded me of Halloween, so I tried to change that with the green leaves.
Melody – I don’t know how many pieces of my jewelry ended up with my daughter but she must have a big collection.
