Minimal blue
by Robin nursechick on 06/08/22
About this design:
I’m lovin the nebulous colors in the Czech glass fire polish beads. I’m getting ready for the fall shows. This will make a nice choker. 16 inches long.
Components:
4 mm firepolish in matte white and a nebulous blue. Irregular shell heishi beads. An 8 mm Czech Bicone makes the charm at the back. Silver plated findingsRead the comments (or add your own)

sweetjane says:Love the design…the colors…the heishi beads..perfect!! You will do well at your show. There are a lot of shows around here in the Fall. I’d like to get in on one. How do you find out about them?

Robin nursechick says:The shows around here are advertised-my first show was at my church. From there I learned of the other churches and places that have them from other vendors. Some of the high schools and little towns go all out with winter/Christmas markets. You can also go online and search for craft shows near me and find advertising there. Some places will provide a table and chair with your booth and others charge like 10.00 for a table-well worth having your table set up. There was the initial cost of tablecloths and props. I’ve done a few outdoor shows-that’s not fun here in Texas because in Oct. and Nov it’s still in the 80-90′s. You definitely need a helper to carry all your stuff in. Hope that answers some of your questions. Your jewelry is beautiful. You wouldn’t have trouble selling it.

K Ralston says:Robin, I’m really liking your minimalist designs. This one is both minimal and flashy. Love the dangle in back. Really dreamy colors. I know your show is going to be very great success.

Beadaholic1 says:Loving the colors in this! I really like making minimalist jewelry…I don’t have to fuss as much over designs and materials! This necklace looks beachy as well as cool as winter– a real all-season piece! Into my favs

dolllady aka Pam says:I agree that your minimalist jewelry speaks to my heart. This would be great with jeans and a T-shirt. Another place is church bazaars. Local churches seem to have Thanksgiving or Christmas bazaars. Local women’s clubs have bazaars also. My church down here has started using monthly Trunk Sales in the parking lot. There is fresh produce, rummage sale items, hand crafted items.

Crystal Canary says:Love this one! Stacking the shell heishi beads in the front is impressive. At first I thought they were the ombre Owyhee Blue Opals from Lima, but I definitely think you achieved the same effect. Your recent minimalist line of jewelry will do very well at the shows. Very nice Robin!

KelleyH says:I agree with everyone about your minimalist designs. They are great everyday pieces but could also be dressed up. I love the colors together and the heishi beads in the front.

Beady Little Eyes says:Beautiful Robin. I also love the minimalist look. The heishis are so pretty in this necklace. The dangle in the back is so cute. The silver findings go with it nicely.
