About this design:

I don’t know if this necklace would be considered minimal. Probably not. I wanted to try something a little elegant , but understated. Does that make sense. I got the idea from a customer at one of the shows last fall. The customer was going to be mother of the bride. I had nothing to offer. So I thought about it several months and searched for ideas. It took a lot of searching to find this calla lily bead cap- and yes it’s acrylic! Yippee! Sadly, I couldn’t help this lady, but lesson learned!

Acrylic bead cap , pearl alcohol ink, fancy silver plated bead caps, a Swarovski pearl and little crystals. A fancy chain that has crystals .

Robin, what a lovely necklace! I would consider this minimal given the daintiness of the chain (even with the bling, which is great!) and the single pendant. The calla bead is really cool -I’ve not seen anything like that before! How long is the calla? This would make a great mother of the bride necklace!

Kelly, It’s about 38mm with the bead caps.

I would call this a luxurious minimal necklace! It would be great for MOB and MOG! It has bling but also a feeling of simplicity.

You definitely succeeded at elegant. This is just gorgeous. I have some red Jasper beads identical in shape. Your acrylic beads are so stunning that I thought at first glance that these were red Jasper. I’m so amazed at how the alcohol ink (and your artistic skill) create such beauty.

Robin – I love your beautiful and elegant design. Your dark red lily looks great with the silver findings and pearl. Understated and great.
