Ivory and Copper Netted Necklace

About this design:

Made the netted necklace first. Then added the pendant. The little bell actually clangs if you shake it hard enough.

LBE, this is gorgeous! It is perfect to fall. However it will be beautiful any time of the year. I can see the quality you put into your work.

I love the way the design developes at the bottom with a simple, yet somewhat ornate, lead to your “bell”– which is accomplished through the use of metal bead caps. Even gives me ideas, although I wouldn’t have the patience to the long beadwork parts. I’d like to see this clever focal in other designs. I like the shape.

By the way, it would be nice if you had a close up photo of the netted stitch side part with a plain background in a contrasting color. The heavy weave of your display mingled too much with the tiny beads on my tablet when I tried to look closely.

I think the netted necklace is gorgeous and I like the way you incorporated the pendant into the netted portion. The green faceted rounds with their bead caps really grab your attention and pull you into the pendant. Beautiful work!

Beautiful! I bet the flower focal rings like a little bell.

I love the addition of the pendant…anything you do netted to me looks really difficult…and the effects are extra good!

I miss one day of checking in, and you all have done so much! This is a great necklace. It would look so good this fall with a turtleneck or light sweater.

The bell/flower pendant is so cool! I love your creativity in working with these components. I also agree with the prior comment that your use of the green beads draws the eye to your focal.

Thank you all so much. This is the second time I have used the Grand Leaf Bead cap in a design. I just love it. Melody – I tried to get a better close-up of the netting.

Beady, what a cool idea using the Grand Leaf bead cap & turning it into a bell! I really like the netting and the way the green beads embellish the focal area. You’ve got the greatest ideas–Beautiful work as always. :)
