Super work in creating this wonderful design! I see quiltwork when I look at the ‘dancing’ squares. The soft color mix brings a country feel to it too. I wanted to ask if this is a chenille stitch? I set aside a bracelet I was working on because my eyes where going crazy trying to work with seeds that were so close in color, and the stitch kinda looks the same. I still need to learn what all the different stitches are. It’s a fun stitch, but not for a beginner like me. Love this one Beady!

My first sight impression was like CC’s a quilt! Maybe because I learned to quilt before I learned to bead. This would be a great necklace to wear to a square dance. There is a lot of square dancing here in the Rio Grande Valley in the many mobile home parks during the Winter Texan season.

I love the look of those “dancing” squares! Your creations are always so imaginative and so beautiful. And your bead weaving is superb as always.

So cute! Reminds me of crocheted granny squares, or pot holders. But classier.

Thank you all for your sweet comments.
Crystal – This is not a Chenille stitch. It’s called Pondo. They do look very similar.
Melody – You’re right. They do look like crochet! Hadn’t thought of that.

I see a quilt as well. It’s very creative. The focal part also looks a little Native American to me. Just a little. Excellent design.

Thanks KR. It does look a little Native American. A friend called the necklace Chex Mix.
