Kazuri Blues

About this design:

I usually make necklaces so this and the last two bracelets I posted are a stretch for me. I only had a few of these blue Kazuri beads so I paired them with grey baroque freshwater pearls and antiqued silver beads.

African ceramic Kazuri beads, gray baroque freshwater pearls, 8mm corrugated antique silver-plated beads, butterfly charm, clasp.

Another fantastic bracelet using Kazuri beads!

I like this bracelet a lot, but I am puzzled by the description of the colors because on my tablet the pearls look more gold in color, and the silver plated beads look tan, with dark goldish stripes. The Kazuri beads are blue though. Mysterious.

Hi Melody, Sorry about the confusion. It’s just poor lighting. I took another picture (attached) but I’m not sure it’s any better.

Wow, this one is my favorite–but I’ve loved them all. My computer also shows the beads/findings with an antiqued brass finish, so I’m glad you added the extra picture above. I adore the Kazuri beads & their unique handmade vibe. Does anyone know a good outlet to purchase these? Looks like you’re having fun making these bracelets–and I’d be excited to wear any one of them!

Crystal, thank you. Unfortunately, I don’t really have any experience of good outlets to purchase them from since all mine were given to me by a friend who purchased them wholesale from the Kazuri factory in Kenya. I’ve seen them on Etsy. I also found the website of “Kazuri West” which looks promising, but expensive.

Another great bracelet. Thanks for the 2nd photo. It really shows the colors well.

It looks beautiful in the silvery-bronze look as well. This is a good wintery bracelet.
