Our Black Bears
About this design:
This is a tribute to the Black Bears that roam my neighborhood. They are urban Bears. I live close to the parkway, so they wander in and around where I live. Now, as recent as last week, one has hit our trash cans in the middle of the night. I 'm pretty sure they should be hibernating by now.

Lipstick Ranch bear, Tourmaline chips, Red Line Agate, glass leaf, copper charm and brass chain.Additional Images:

sweetjane says:People in Asheville are used to bears…that’s why they are called urban bears. I have had a rather scary experience…a mama and three cubs were at the Ed of my deck while I was sitting there one day. I guess she figured I wasn’t z threat and went on.

My stash is beyond managing and these arthritic hands are rebelling at continued use and in my early days of beading I was ever so greedy in my purchases. You name it, I probably have it; stones, findings, artist beads and many, many more!

sweetjane says:I myself are facing the same problem with way too many beads. It was suggested that I do a destash on my shop…that’s one suggestion…or simply bag them up and take them to the Goodwill. I haven’t decided which I will do. But…that being said, I still would be interested in new beads. So…CRHG…I will pay for postage…let me know how to send you the money.

It was a lot of fun exchanging messages within our beading community. I do wish they would set it back up again–I miss those days. Maybe we could find a mediary to exchange phone numbers? I know what you mean about putting info out there. Having a shop or website would definitely be the easiest way to talk.
