Outstanding use of the glass cut-out ovals! You’ll never believe I’ve had some of those sitting in my desk, lonely as can be….I’m crazy over how you used them in this design! I really like your classic stitched sections between the stations of glass beads, and how the stitching pulls all the colors together. Love the front closure thru the hole–how great that the bead slipped right through. Do you work on one project at a time or several all at once? You are an expert in making fresh designs, and the ability to come up with so many different ideas. Keep up the great work Beady!

I like the ovals and the use of them as closures. All the sparkle appeals to my love of bling, as well as the fringy tassel. Beautiful.

Another beautiful necklace. I like that front closure, so much more interesting than a metal clasp. I also love looking at your creations posted on your website. My favorite is the Crazy Chicken Necklace. We raise chickens so I’m really drawn to it. You are so talented and creative!

I love looking at all the different ways you can wear your creations. I wonder, like Crystal, do you work on several at a time? Your creativity seems endless. Ii. Hope you do well on your website.

Pink and brown together make me think of a smart, educated woman. Maybe with a tweed skirt and a cashmere sweater. Is that just me? Very nice necklace Lucinda.

Thank you all so much for your positive feedback. Sometimes I work on more than 1 project at a time if I get stuck, but this one had so many different seed beads that I had to work on it until finished. Too messy.
Melody – now that you mention it – it does remind me of a tweed skirt also.
Althea – the chicken necklace is one of my favorites. It features Henelope (Rhode Island Red – head shot). She was my favorite.
Crystal – Just a warning – I had the necklace near my computer at a table about 4 feet high. One of the ends slipped off the edge and brought the whole necklace down with it on to the tile floor. Three of the cut outs broke and I had to replace them. Ugh.

Oh Beady, I can’t believe the ovals broke–that must have been more than frustrating to have to redo the work. Thanks for the heads-up on their fragility. Henelope is very much my favorite girl too, and I’ll never forget her beaded face on your chicken piece. Too Cute!
