Morse code wishes

About this design:

I am enjoying working with Morse code again! This necklace says “Happy Birthday”. It is amazing how each Happy Birthday necklace looks SO different depending on the choice of beads.
Each word begins and ends with a small silver bead.
Each letter is separated by a small red and white agate bead.
The letters (dots and dashes) are made up with tube and flat coin beads.
The words are separated by a single contrasting bead.
I love the way the message is “secret” and gives the necklace both a visual and a tactile appeal.
The second photo shows the work in progress-I check and double check and triple check the bead placements, reading it forward and backwards. It would be awful if it said the wrong word!

Red Jasper, Agate, lapis with malachite, silver plated chain, clasp and jump rings, 22g silver plated wire for the bead charm

Very nice design. I also like to make Morse code necklaces but with seed beads. It’s fun to have a necklace that only you (and your pal) know what it says. Love the flat coin beads and tubes. Beautiful.

Love your unique necklace and the beads you used. The flat coins and tubes are perfect for code. This design has endless possibilities.

I have a piece of paper with Morse Code and at one time thought about making a necklace. Never made the necklace but I still have the paper with the code. :)
