The First Rose of Summer

About this design:

Our daffodils and crocuses have come and gone, so I’ve moved beyond Spring, and am thinking about Summer. Here is the first rose of Summer.

Components:

Lampwork floral beads, pink cathedral beads, green cathedral beads, Czech glass leaf beads, freshwater pearls, faceted silver hematite, floral toggle clasp.

    This looks like a feminine gorgeous bracelet! I need to get out and dead head the notes that bloomed last month. It is a gorgeous orange and red bloom.

    Lovely Althea. I know a poem about “The Last Rose of Summer” but not the first. The lampwork floral beads are so pretty and I love the pink and green transparent glass with them.

    Althea, such a beautiful bracelet. I like the added touch of elegance with the pearls & cathedrals–perfect with the delicate floral design in the lampwork beads. I totally agree with Beady about the contrast using the transparent glass. Summer is on its way, but its been raining for two days now with total cloud cover & no sight of sunshine; hopefully tomorrow……
