Cut Outs

About this design:

I call this style of pendants cut outs. They are made from sections of larger discarded wire frames. It's a good way to reuse the wire instead of tossing it into recycle. All I do is reposition some of the wires and cut off unneeded pieces.

The first piece looks a bit like a swan. The wire frame is 14ga red brass and the stringing wire is 24ga red brass. The stone is a blue sky agate that has a liberal amount of orange brown and internal fractures.

The one with green stones has curves that remind me of a snake. The stones are jasper that has been color enhanced and is sold as chrysocholla jasper. I'm not sure if the netted surface design is natural or an enhancement of some sort. The neck ring is made with 14ga red brass.

The pendant with the darker color is made with 14ga and 24ga red brass wire, ebony wood and 3 seed beads. It hangs from a 1.5mm leather cord.

Please overlook any misspelled words or errors in grammar. It is the fault of the keyboard and stiff fingers.

Components:

14ga and 24ga red brass wire, agate, jasper, ebony wood, glass seed beads, leather cord

All 3 of these pendants are amazing! I can understand why your fingers are sore. That was a ton of wrapping.

Absolutely gorgeous pendants! I think the black and gold one is my favorite but all three are just outstanding. Beautiful work!

Love all of your beautiful pendants. They are all wonderful but I especially like the snake sneaking through the green rocks.
